Terms of Service
1. Service Overview
Plio is a progressive web application (PWA) for personal finance management. It allows users to track income and expenses, set budget goals by category and visualize their financial situation.
Plio also offers bank aggregation via Enable Banking API for automatic transaction and balance retrieval.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Plio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
3. Access and Registration
Using Plio requires authentication via a third-party identity provider (Google or GitHub). By signing in, you guarantee that you provide accurate and up-to-date information.
4. Bank Aggregation via Enable Banking
Plio uses Enable Banking Oy services (Otakaari 5, 02150 Espoo, Finland - Company ID 2988499-7), a licensed Account Information Service Provider (AISP) supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA).
When connecting a bank account:
- You are redirected to your bank to authenticate directly.
- Your bank credentials are never transmitted or stored by Plio.
- Your explicit consent is collected and maintained by Enable Banking.
- Transaction and balance data flows through Enable Banking API and is stored in Plio solely to provide budget tracking.
You can revoke consent at any time from the app settings or directly with your bank.
5. Service Usage
You agree to use Plio for its intended purpose of personal finance management and not to:
- Attempt to access other users' data.
- Use the service for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
- Disrupt or compromise the application.
6. Intellectual Property
All elements of Plio (code, design, brand) are protected by intellectual property law. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
Plio is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy of imported bank data or uninterrupted availability. Plio does not constitute financial advice.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial changes.
9. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts.
